Welcome from the Dean

Welcome to The Citadel Evening Undergraduate Studies program. There are so many exciting initiatives taking place at The Citadel today as we look to a bright future. We are currently enhancing our facilities and student services, expanding the academic curriculum, and improving our professional development opportunities for our Evening Undergraduate students.

The mission of The Citadel Evening Undergraduate Studies program is to serve the educational needs of adult and non-traditional students and to create and support academic opportunities for adult learners in a non-military environment (no uniforms required). Courses are offered during the evening, weekends, and online. Our curriculum and course delivery format is designed for students with full-time jobs during the day.

I invite you to carefully study our website for information concerning program requirements, schedule of courses, and current fees. To apply for admission requires the submission of an application, official transcripts from institutions that you have attended, and an unofficial birth certificate.

U.S. News and World Report ranks the Citadel as the top public college in the South. We are very proud of our programs and reputation for academic excellence. I encourage you to contact me at 843-953-9536 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you have questions or need further information.
